Before the main card even started earlier tonight (Sat., Aug. 5, 2017) at UFC Fight Night 114 live on FOX Sports 1 from inside Arena Ciudad de México in Mexico City, Mexico, the “Prelims” unexpectedly produced five first-round finishes. The last to join the party was rising middleweight prospect Jack Hermansson, who scored a dominant TKO stoppage over Englishman Brad Scott in the FS1 preliminary headliner. Hermansson did a tremendous job keeping his distance on the feet in the early going before landing a big takedown and eventual knockout finish on the heels of tumultuous ground-and-pound.

With this win, Hermansson earns his second TKO stoppage of 2017 and improves his divisional record to 3-1. The Swedish finisher is quickly making strides in the 185-pound class as he’s showing signs of why he was a highly-touted prospect before his UFC debut last year.
