Despite an underrated card on paper, UFC Fight Night 114 delivered in waves last night (Sat., Aug. 5, 2017) live on FOX Sports 1 from inside Arena Ciudad de México in Mexico City, Mexico. In what turned out to be one of the best events of the year, UFC Fight Night 114 offered seven total first-round finishes, including two within 30 seconds.
Not only did flyweight contender Sergio Pettis beat down Brandon Moreno in the main event of the evening, but Niko Price stunned Alan Jouban with a nasty TKO finish, Dustin Ortiz earned the fastest finish in UFC flyweight history with his 15-second knockout of Hector Sandoval, Rani Yahya locked down his eighth UFC/WEC submission finish, and Humberto Bandenay pulled off the biggest upset of the night with his 26-second knockout of Martin Bravo.
