Floyd Mayweather doesn’t actually want to fight in the UFC, and Conor McGregor has one word for him.

As usual, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is toying with the media. A few days after saying he could make a billion dollars if he fought in the UFC, Dana White actually confirmed they were having real talks with Mayweather about coming in. But, hold your horses – Mayweather said today that it’s not happening. In an interview with FightHype, he shot the whole idea down emphatically and said his original statement was misconstrued:

“Exactly what I said is this: If I could make over a billion dollars before, I could do it again. If I chose to get in the UFC and fight three fights or fight four fights and then fight Conor McGregor, I could make a billion dollars. Which I can. I could do it in three fights or even four fights – I could make a billion dollars. If I choose to get in the Octagon and fight.”

“I’m just saying I could. I’m not going to do it. I’m just saying what I could do to make a billion dollars quick, if I wanted to do that. But I never said I was going to fight in the UFC. I didn’t say that. If I wanted to, I could do. Would and could do is different things. I’m not going to do it though.”

Guess I should have jumped on that prop bet on whether Mayweather would fight in the UFC when I had the chance.

Anyway, it didn’t take long for McGregor to chime in on the subject. McGregor, who boxed Mayweather and made over 100 million dollars for a TKO loss in August, posted a single word on social media in reference to Mayweather’s statement:

Pussy

If you can’t see it, that one word would be “p-ssy”.
