A surprise ending at the UFC on Fox event in Winnipeg shook things up at 145 pounds.

Josh Emmett shocked the world when he knocked out Ricardo Lamas with a devastating left hook in the co-main event of last weekend’s UFC on Fox show in Winnipeg. Even though Emmett didn’t actually make weight for the bout and it was contested at a catchweight, he immediately moved into the top-five at 145 based on his performance.

The event also saw Rafael dos Anjos plant himself square in the welterweight title talk with a dominating unanimous decision over former champ Robbie Lawler. He’s not the number-one contender on the rankings list, but for all intents and purposes he is.
