Despite losing his last Octagon appearance, the ultra-entertaining Doo Ho Choi will get a massive main event bid tomorrow night (Sun., Jan. 14, 2018) at UFC Fight Night 124 live on FOX Sports 1 from inside Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri, when he takes on featherweight veteran Jeremy Stephens.
In preparation for the return of “Korean Superboy,” UFC featured Choi in the most recent edition of “KO of the Week.” This time around, the action focuses on Choi’s memorable knockout finish over Thiago Tavares back in 2016 (shown above courtesy of UFC). It took the Korean prospect just over two minutes to pressure Tavares against the cage, land a devastating right hand, and secure his third-straight UFC finish.
While Choi is coming off a five-round loss to Cub Swanson in 2016’s Fight of the Year, he’s more than capable of getting right back into the win column this weekend in St. Louis. That said, the 26-year-old will have to land more than just one punch to take out a barbarian like “Lil Heathen”
UFC Fight Night 124 will also feature a co-main event tilt between women’s flyweights Paige VanZant and Jessica-Rose Clark.
