Alex “Cowboy” Oliveira delivered yet another memorable finish last night (Sat., Sept. 22, 2018) at UFC Fight Night 137 live on FOX Sports 1 from inside Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil, when he laid waste to Italian prospect Carlo Pedersoli Jr. via 39-second TKO.
It didn’t take long for Oliveira to make his veteran presence felt as he caught a side kick attempt by Pedersoli Jr. and immediately slammed a right hand counter into the Italian’s temple. Pedersoli Jr. was visibly hurt. Oliveira jumped on top and launched heavy ground-and-pound from side control. Pedersoli Jr. couldn’t withstand the pressure and the fight was stopped.

With this performance, Oliveira finishes his second fight in a row after choking out former UFC welterweight titleholder Carlos Condit back in April. “Cowboy” is quickly becoming one of the most entertaining fighters at 170 pounds and should land a big name his next time out, especially considering he has finished all of his last five wins.
