The action will unravel later tonight (Sat., Nov. 24, 2018) live on pay-per-view (PPV) from inside The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., as Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz square off for an anticipated trilogy fight under the Golden Boy MMA banner.
While Liddell hasn’t competed professionally in nearly eight years, his return to mixed martial arts (MMA) is still commanding much attention, especially since it’s coming against Ortiz. Remember, the two fought twice before back at UFC 47 and UFC 66, which were matchups “Iceman” won with individually impressive knockout finishes.
Tonight’s trilogy fight between Liddell and Ortiz will be the most talked about event of the weekend so best not to miss it. Luckily, Mania is here is provide a potential start time for the PPV main event between two of MMA’s biggest names ever.
With the main card scheduled to begin at 9:00 p.m. ET, the official start time for Liddell vs. Ortiz is subject to change. But considering there are four three-round affairs scheduled to take place before the main event it’s safe to say Liddell vs. Ortiz won’t begin until sometime around 11:45 p.m. ET. We really don’t know what sort of promotion Oscar De La Hoya is dumping into this event so it’s possibly that time is backed up a bit following extended promos and walkouts to the cage.
If things run late Mania will be sure to provide an updated start time for one of the most intriguing MMA fights of the year.
