With news that a Max Holloway vs. Dustin Poirier interim lightweight title fight with headline UFC 236 on April 13 from Atlanta, Georgia, the rest of the card is beginning to take form.
Earlier today (Sat., Feb, 23, 2019), UFC officials announced that a light heavyweight battle between former middleweight contender Eryk Anders (11-3) and former Ultimate Fighter winner Khalil Rountree (7-3, 1 NC) has been added to the event. Anders, 31, is coming off a tough split decision loss to Elias Theodorou back at UFC 231 in a brief return to 185 pounds, while Rountree is fresh off a knockout defeat at the hands of rising light heavyweight youngster Johnny Walker.

Also added to the UFC 236 mix is a light heavyweight rematch between former interim title challenger Ovince Saint Preux (23-12) and Ukrainian finisher Nikita Krylov, who saw his Octagon return spoiled this past September by a Jan Blachowicz submission. Saint Preux, who defeated Krylov via Von Flue choke in their first meeting back in 2014, is coming off a disappointing decision loss to undefeated prospect Dominick Reyes.
OSP was originally slated to face Misha Cirkunov next weekend at UFC 235, but an injury knocked the former collegiate football star out of commission. He was replaced by Johnny Walker.
UFC 236 will also feature a co-main event interim title fight pitting top middleweight contender Kelvin Gastelum against rising superstar Israel Adesanya.
