The finishes kept piling in earlier today (Sat., April 20, 2019) at UFC on ESPN+ 7 live on ESPN+ from inside Yubileyny Sports Palace in Saint Petersburg, Russia, as surging light heavyweight contender Michal Oleksiejczuk put a quick and brutal stop to Russian veteran Gadzhimurad Antigulov via 44-second knockout (punches).
Antigulov burst out of the gate in typical fashion, but Oleksiejczuk was there to meet him with a hard counter left hook. The Russian fell to the canvas but eventually returned to his feet, only to eat a beautiful left-handed uppercut that sent him back to the ground. Oleksiejczuk jumped on top and landed heavy punches before Antigulov’s lights finally turned off and the referee stepped in.

With this performance, Oleksiejczuk extends his light heavyweight win streak to two after taking out veteran Gian Villante with a 94-second knockout back in February. The 24-year-old Polish fighter finally looks to be settling in at 205 pounds and could make a real push up the divisional ladder in 2019, especially if he continues to use his smaller size and increased speed to his advantage.
