The return of Brazilian finisher Leonardo Santos lasted just over two minutes earlier today (Sat., June 1, 2019) at UFC on ESPN+ 11 live on ESPN+ from inside Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden, when he flattened Stevie Ray with one single punch for a first-round knockout finish.
Despite being out of competition for nearly three years, Santos looked extremely comfortable in his return to the cage. The 39-year-old may have had to eat a few shots to find his timing but everything fell into place during an exchange just after the two-minute mark. Ray rushed in for a combination, Santos avoided the punches, and landed a beautiful counter right hand falling back that crumbled Ray to the canvas.

With this performance, Santos returns to action in devastating fashion. The streaking Brazilian now commands a 6-0-1 UFC record and remains undefeated in his professional career since May of 2009. That’s an incredible streak and one that should propel Santos into a top 10 matchup his next time out.
