Edmen Shahbazyan shined yet again earlier tonight (Sat., July 6, 2019) at UFC 239 from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, as he took out veteran middleweight Jack Marshman via rear-naked choke submission just 72 seconds into the first round.

Shahbazyan wasted little time in exchanging with the elder Marshman. The Welsh striker hung in tough to sling some leather but Shahbazyan was simply too fast. Shahbazyan then transitioned into a takedown attempt and was able to take Marshman down. From there, Shahbazyan launched heavy ground-and-pound that started to melt Marshman away. The youngster then took Marshman’s back and easily locked in the rear-naked choke finish.
