Josh Emmett continued his knockout rampage earlier tonight (Sat., July 13, 2019) at UFC on ESPN+ 13 live on ESPN+ from inside Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, Calif., when he stopped rising featherweight contender Mirsad Bektic via first-round TKO (punches).
Both men came out swinging and landed meaningful shots, but it was Emmett who struck the fight-changing blow. He hit Bektic with a stiff jab that put the young featherweight on the ground. Emmett pounced on top and started to unload heavy ground-and-pound as Bektic tried to defend. He did for a moment or two before Emmett landed a nasty punch underneath and landed the final few blows.

With this performance, Emmett locks down his second-straight knockout finish after taking out Michael Johnson with one punch back in March. He holds a one-punch finish over Ricardo Lamas from back in 2017 as well. Emmett continues to show the patience of a calculated finisher and has put the major heat on some really good featherweights. This most recent finish should land him close to a top 5 matchup as he makes a push for title contention in 2020.
