Looking at the striking stats, as provided by FightMetric.com, it’s easy to see that Jones dominated Rua in every aspect of the fight by landing 75 significant strikes out of 102, compared to “Shogun’s” 9 out of 11. Not only did he land 73.5% of his strikes, the new champ also scored on all three takedown attempts.
