Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping and current welterweight top contender Jorge Masvidal have officially squashed their beef.

The two fighters have been butting heads for quite some time now. After backstage shouting matches and heated hotel clashes pinned the two against each other back in 2017, a near physical altercation came to fruition last year after Masvidal rushed “The Count” at a hotel in China. Luckily, the two didn’t come to blows, but their rivalry was at an all time high.

However, despite their rocky past, Bisping and Masvidal seem to be working out their differences. Just last month, following Masvidal’s historic five-second finish over Ben Askren at UFC 239 (see it HERE), the two men stood side-by-side for Masvidal’s interview on the post-fight show. Bisping handled his reporting duties with professionalism and “Gamebred” had nothing bad to say at all.

If that wasn’t enough to convince you their storied rivalry is a thing of the past, Bisping and Masvidal smiled for the camera earlier today while in Montevideo, Uruguay for ESPN+ 14 this weekend (shown above). Bisping will be doing commentary for the ESPN+ broadcast while Masvidal was in attendance to do some Q&A.

“Soda only these days,” wrote Bisping via Instagram.

“Thought we drinking whiskey,” replied Masvidal.

For now, the two fighters seem on good terms. Bisping really has no room for beef anyways as he enjoys his retirement from professional fighting and current role as commentator and analyst. As for Masvidal, he’s gearing up for either a potential UFC welterweight title shot or a long-awaited clash with real rival Leon Edwards, who caught the original three piece with a soda earlier this year.
