Hundreds of featherweight and bantamweight fighters flocked to the Marriott at Newark Liberty International Airport on Monday for a chance to earn a spot on “The Ultimate Fighter” season 14. Fifty fighters were called into one of the conference rooms at a time to display their grappling and striking skills. UFC President Dana White offered fighters $100 for each submission they pulled off within the allotted time limit, adding an extra incentive for everyone to force the tap. The video finishes just before the first cuts are made.
Five fighters who stood out during the tryouts, according to ESPN.com, were John Fraser, John Robles, Carson Beebe, John Dodson, and Charon Spain, a few of them make appearances on the video. To read more on these five fighters hit the link above.
