Fight fans are in for a treat later this evening (Sat., Sept. 14, 2019) at UFC Fight Night 158 live on ESPN+ from inside Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, as perennial contender Donald Cerrone steps back inside of the Octagon to take on lightweight finisher Justin Gaethje in the main event.

Cerrone, who is coming off a disappointing TKO loss to Tony Ferguson back in June, is hoping to parlay a memorable victory over “Highlight” this weekend into a potential title shot sometime in 2020. “Cowboy” has looked even better at the age of 36 following the birth of his son and will look to continue that trend against one of the most dangerous fighters in the sport today.

In advance to Cerrone’s return to the cage UFC has released his greatest Octagon finishes to date. Considering “Cowboy” holds the UFC record for most wins and finishes his highlight reel is chalk full of knockouts, submissions, and flat-out beatdowns. Check it out below courtesy of UFC:

Adding to the main card mix is a co-headliner pitting former UFC light heavyweight title challenger Glover Teixeira against resurgent contender Nikita Krylov. While Teixeira isn’t quite as dominant as he was when he first burst onto the UFC scene over seven years ago the 39-year-old veteran remains a major player at 205 pounds entering 2020.

Teixeira, who is currently the betting underdog against “The Miner,” has finished each of his last two Octagon appearances via submission. That adds to an already stout highlight reel of UFC knockouts and submissions throughout his promotional tenure, which can all be seen below courtesy of UFC:

All that’s left to do now is fight. Only time will tell if Cerrone and/or Teixeira are able to add a finish to their UFC record and push even closer towards another divisional title shot.
