Talented bantamweight fighter Randy Costa returned to the win column earlier tonight (Fri., Oct. 18, 2019) at UFC on ESPN 6 from inside TD Garden in Boston, Mass., when he overwhelmed Boston Salmon in the first round of their “Prelims” clash to earn an impressive TKO stoppage (punches).
The finishing sequence began with a Costa right hand down the pipe that stunned Salmon on the feet. Costa then followed that up with another two right hands that put Salmon on the canvas and in clear danger of a stoppage. One more final right by Costa slumped the bantamweight fighter and ultimately forced the referee’s hand.

With this performance, Costa notches his first Octagon victory after dropping his debut to Brandon Davis via submission back in April. The 25-year-old prospect clearly has some serious skill in his hands and wasted little time showcasing that in front of a wild home crowd. It will be interesting to see what the Lauzon MMA product can do in 2020 as he sinks his teeth deeper into the 135-pound pack and expands on his dangerous finishing ability.
