Featherweight contenders Yair Rodriguez and Jeremy Stephens buried the hatchet last night (Fri., Oct. 18, 2019) at UFC on ESPN 6 from inside TD Garden in Boston, Mass., as the two strikers went toe-to-toe in a grueling seesaw affair, which ultimately saw “El Pantera” capture the unanimous decision win.
In addition, main event attraction Dominick Reyes kept his perfect UFC record (6-0) in tact when he brutally finished former middleweight champion Chris Weidman via first-round knockout, Maycee Barber continued her women’s flyweight dominance with a dominant TKO stoppage over Gillian Robertson, veteran Joe Lauzon set the UFC lightweight record for most finishes (13) when he stopped Jonathan Pearce with a nasty TKO, and featherweight veteran Charles Rosa returned from a 30-month layoff to verbally submit grappling expert Manny Bermudez.
