The action unfolded bright and early today (Sat., Oct. 26, 2019) at UFC Fight Night 162 live on ESPN+ from inside Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore, as Brazilian veteran Demian Maia spoiled welterweight contender Ben Askren’s return to the Octagon with a fabulous third-round submission win (see it HERE).
In addition to Maia’s main event finish, Scottish fighter Stevie Ray edged out Michael Johnson for a majority decision win in the co-headliner, former lightweight contender Beneil Dariush scored an impressive rear-naked choke submission finish over veteran fighter Frank Camacho, heavyweight prospect Ciryl Gane continued his dominance with a last-second heel hook finish against Don’tale Mayes, and heavyweight power puncher Sergei Pavlovich took care of business against Maurice Greene by scoring a brutal first-round TKO finish.
