Conor McGregor is all over this “Baddest Motherf—ker” title fight between rival Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal this weekend at UFC 244 and for obvious reason.
McGregor, who despite fighting just once inside of the Octagon in the past three years, is one of the most game opponents in the history of UFC. From taking fights on short notice to moving up two weight classes, “Notorious” easily considers himself the true “BMF” of combat sports, especially considering he went 10 rounds with Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Needless to say, McGregor likely feels left out of this weekend’s festivities. Because while “Notorious” pleads guilty to assault for punching an old bar patron in the head, Diaz and Masvidal are gearing up for one of the biggest fights of the year on one of the biggest stages in fighting.
As you may have suspected, McGregor was paying close attention as Diaz and Masvidal stepped on the scales during UFC 244’s ceremonial weigh ins (shown HERE) and locked eyes for the last time (shown HERE). While Diaz and “Gamebred” have been fairly cordial leading into their “BMF” title fight, McGregor expected a little more out of the two welterweights when they came face-to-face.
This is not a bad motherfucker weigh in.

“This is not a bad motherf—ker weigh in,” wrote McGregor via Twitter.
I’m sad they didn’t get to shake hands up there like they wanted to and tried to. It was so sad seeing this. Its like a love story up there. OMG Its the notebook.
Now get out that fucking cheque book and donate to my charity and the real bad mans back— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) November 1, 2019
“I’m sad they didn’t get to shake hands up there like they wanted to and tried to,” added McGregor. “It was so sad seeing this. Its like a love story up there. OMG Its the notebook.

McGregor, who has mentioned a potential trilogy fight with Diaz in the past, has been plotting his return to MMA for over a year now after getting choked out by Khabib Nurmagomedov in October 2018. That is the last time fight fans saw “Notorious” step inside of the cage. The 31-year-old Irishman has actually made more headlines outside of the Octagon then inside of it since his last appearance.
While McGregor is currently rumored to make his comeback this January against Donald Cerrone, there’s a really good chance UFC tells “Cowboy” to hit the bricks in exchange for the winner of Diaz vs. Masvidal. After all, a “BMF” title fight involving McGregor would be absolutely bonkers and a big cash grab that UFC may not be able to pass up heading into 2020.
UFC 244 will go down tomorrow night (Sat., Nov. 2, 2019) live on ESPN+ PPV from inside Madison Square Garden in New York City, with McGregor watching and likely chiming in when the madness concludes.
