The “BMF” title fight unfortunately ended prematurely last night (Sat., Nov. 2, 2019) at UFC 244 live on ESPN+ PPV from inside Madison Square Garden in New York City, but welterweights Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz still put on one hell of a show for 15 bloody minutes. “Gamebred” ultimately came out victorious with the TKO (doctor’s stoppage) finish, but the action was back-and-forth throughout (HIGHLIGHTS HERE).
In addition to Masvidal claiming “BMF” title rights, former UFC welterweight title challenger Stephen Thompson regained momentum in the division with a cerebral dissection of rising striker Vicente Luque, Kevin Lee made a triumphant return to the lightweight division with a blistering head kick KO over formerly undefeated contender Gregor Gillespie, Corey Anderson shocked the MMA world when he destroyed light heavyweight upstart Johnny Walker via first-round TKO, the 21-year-old Edmen Shahbazyan scored a vicious head kick finish over middleweight veteran Brad Tavares, and heavyweight knockout artist Jairzinho Rozenstruik put a 29-second stop to former UFC champion Andrei Arlovski.
In order to sift through the action and see which fighters took home an extra $50,000, we take a closer look at the official UFC 244 bonus winners below:
