Strikeforce light heavyweight Dan Henderson talks about his title win over Rafael “Feijão” Cavalcante last month in Columbus, the Strikeforce sale to Zuffa, and a possible bout with Fedor Emelianenko.
Henderson was surprised by the Zuffa purchase but felt welcome when he walked into the arena in Newark to watch UFC 128. He feels that the UFC hasn’t put on as exciting events as Strikeforce has and couldn’t pinpoint the reason why. On fighting Fedor, he feels a “Super Fight” with the Russian makes sense after the fighters two losses. Henderson would love to challenge himself in a fight against Fedor, smiling when he made the comment. He reiterates that he is not interested in meeting the Russian at a catchweight and will meet him at heavyweight.
