Streaking welterweight contender Geoff Neal scored a monster knockout finish earlier tonight (Sat., Dec. 14, 2019) at UFC 245 from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, when he stopped the ultra-tough Mike Perry in the first round of their “Prelims” scrap.

Perry came out aggressive and forced the fight on Neal. “Handz of Steel” had no problem returning the favor as he caught Perry with a massive head kick in the center of the cage. Perry stumbled back and Neal came forward with more. Combinations inside and more kicks eventually forced “Platinum” to the ground for the stoppage.

With this performance, Neal locks down his fifth-straight win inside of the Octagon while mixing in four savage finishes. The 29-year-old continues to prove he has the skill set to one day contend for a title, but Neal is going to encounter more polished foe in 2020 as the promotion levels him up. That’s when fight fans will find if Neal has what it takes to beat the welterweight best.
