Conor McGregor wants to show you how much fun he’s having in the lead up to his UFC 246 pay-per-view (PPV) main event, which takes place a week from Sat. night (Jan. 18, 2020) inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The means to that end is an Instagram video featuring “Notorious” smashing the pads, because that’s what fans want to see from the power-punching Irishman, who holds 18 knockouts in 21 professional wins.
His opponent, longtime veteran Donald Cerrone, has 17 victories by submission. That’s probably why fans in the comment section are wondering why McGregor isn’t working any wrestling or jiu-jitsu as part of this demonstration.
Those silly little newbies don’t realize that “Notorious” is already one of the world’s best submission fighters. Well, that’s according to his grappling coach and undefeated Bellator MMA fighter, Dillon Danis.
I guess we’ll find out one way or the other next weekend in “Sin City.”
