Conor McGregor pulled off another magical moment last night (Sat., Jan. 18, 2020) at UFC 246 live on ESPN+ PPV from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, steamrolling Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone with a vicious technical knockout finish just 40 seconds into the first round.
McGregor wasted no time as he rushed in with a straight left hand that missed as Cerrone ducked. The two quickly tied up in a clinch and “Notorious” proceeded to launch his shoulder into Cerrone that really busted up the nose and face of “Cowboy.”
When the two separated McGregor blasted Cerrone with a huge head kick that buckled the veteran and sent him back into the cage. McGregor pounced on top with heavy combinations and his patented left hand until “Cowboy” fell to the canvas and the referee stepped in for the stoppage.
