Less than a day after his final bout in the Octagon, former UFC two-division champion Randy Couture discusses his loss to Lyoto Machida at the UFC 129 event in Toronto.

Couture was absent from the post-fight press conference because he was being checked out at a local hospital following his second round knockout.

“I’m relieved … this was a decision that has been a long time coming now, and I’m kinda relieved it’s over. (Against Machida) I felt alright, he’s elusive, hard to catch up with, the times I caught up with him he was very sweaty, kind of slippery. He slipped out and I didn’t really get a good grip on him. I didn’t see the kick at all, it was a lot different setup. It caught me out of nowhere.”
