The next biggest combat card sets sail later tonight (Sat., Mar. 7, 2020) at UFC 248 live on ESPN+ PPV from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, as Israel Adesanya defends his undisputed UFC middleweight championship against divisional powerhouse Yoel Romero. There will be another title fight in the co-main event as Weili Zhang puts her women’s strawweight title up for grabs in an anticipated clash with former champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk.

While the PPV main card isn’t as strong as it could have been with matchups like this and this, the two title fights are as good as it gets. The main event will give Adesanya the chance to improve on his perfect UFC record and further solidify his status as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the sport, while Romero tries to capture his first UFC title and prove he’s still got it at 42 years of age.

In the co-main event, Zhang will have her opportunity to take out the best women’s strawweight fighter of all time and etch her name in the history books, while Jedrzejczyk tries to regain the divisional stranglehold she had prior to getting knocked out by Rose Namajunas back in 2017.

Luckily for fights fans, UFC has been kind enough to drop a few last-second promos for tonight’s action. If you weren’t expecting to shell out the money to see Adesanya and Zhang defend their titles for the first time maybe the above and below videos — both courtesy of UFC — will change your mind.

MMAmania.com will deliver LIVE round-by-round, blow-by-blow coverage of the entire UFC 248 fight card below, starting with the Fight Pass/ESPN+ “Prelims” matches online, which are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. ET, then the remaining undercard balance on ESPN at 8 p.m. ET, before the PPV main card start time at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
