Diego Sanchez has been on the wrong end of the media stick this past month following an uncharacteristic performance at UFC Rio Rancho, but “Nightmare” is now turning the attention onto UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones following his most recent arrest.
While Sanchez trained alongside “Bones” at Jackson Wink MMA for the majority of his professional MMA career that didn’t stop the UFC veteran from unleashing verbal hell on Jones via social media. It may seem like a bit much, but Jones has been in and out of legal trouble for years, leaving fellow UFC fighters like Sanchez frustrated with his lack of dedication outside of the cage.
Here is what Sanchez had to say about Jones’ arrest earlier this week:
Not even the corona virus can keep, Bill fuckin cosby Jones off of the streets of abq during this global pandemic!! What a bitch! THE FAKEST FUCK EVER!!! Fake ass supporters & followers too ?? #realburque

“Not even the corona virus can keep, Bill f—kin Cosby Jones off of the streets of ABQ during this global pandemic!! What a bitch! THE FAKEST F—K EVER!!! Fake ass supporters & followers too,” Sanchez posted on Twitter.
Sanchez, who has a unique MMA following of his own, also took a shot at Jones’ supporters, which apparently includes UFC women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. “Nightmare” even went as far as comparing Jones to former celebrity Bill Cosby, who was sentenced to three-to-10 years in prison for sexual assault back in 2018.
Making matters worse for Jones is the way he has inserted his foot into his mouth in regards to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Jones not only delivered a message to his fans last week about self quarantining, but he also asked all of us to channel our “warrior spirit“ during this difficult time.
Guess Jon missed his own message.
