With absolutely no major sports to watch this weekend as the world self quarantines to stave off the rapid COVID-19 outbreak, most of us will be channeling our inner youth and tuning in for WrestleMania 36’s two-day event live on WWE Network and FITE TV.
That’s right, folks. WrestleMania 36 will still take place this weekend despite everything going on. The massive World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) event will be staged behind closed doors at the organization’s performance institute in Orlando, Florida — taking away from the usual 80,00 screaming fans in the stands — but at least we still get to see some spine busters and top-flight finishing moves.
In advance to the two-day event, WWE has released the best WrestleMania title matches of the last 15 years in effort to get the blood flowing. The near-six hour video can be seen in the above player courtesy of WWE. It features the likes of former UFC champions Ronda Rousey and Brock Lesnar, while showcasing some of the best WWE action in recent memory.
While combat fans would much rather be watching a lightweight title fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson, WrestleMania 36 should be enough to hold us over for now. We won’t get to experience the magic that comes with a live WrestleMania event in front of a sold out crowd, but the in-ring action should still deliver as advertised.
What say you, Maniacs? Which WrestleMania title match is the best one of the last 15 years?
Sound off!
