The upcoming UFC 250 card on June 6 live on ESPN+ PPV remains a works in progress, but that hasn’t stopped the promotion from unveiling the official event poster.
UFC 250 will be the second PPV event for the promotion since returning from COVID-19 quarantine earlier this month. The upcoming UFC 250 card is expected to take place from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, but that’s only if the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) lifts current coronavirus restrictions later this month.
Leading the way at UFC 250 will be a main event pitting current UFC women’s bantamweight and featherweight champion Amanda Nunes against 145-pound contender Felicia Spencer. This will be Nunes’ first official featherweight title defense after knocking out Cris Cyborg in 2018 to capture the belt. For Spencer, this is her first UFC title shot after going 2-1 inside of the Octagon since her debut just over one year ago.
Adding to the UFC 250 madness will be a bantamweight clash between former champion Cody Garbrandt and long-time veteran Raphael Assuncao. The two were scheduled to meet earlier this year before “No Love” was hospitalized with kidney issues. Fight fans will also get to see another 135-pound barn burner as surging title threats Aljamain Sterling and Cory Sandhagen meet for No. 1 contender rights.
THIS IS MY TIME!!!
