Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will return to “Sin City” tomorrow night (Sat., Aug. 1, 2020) to stage UFC Vegas 5 live on ESPN+ from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, as undefeated middleweight contender Edmen Shahbazyan takes on veteran Derek Brunson in the main event.
As a prelude to UFC Vegas 5, which will be the first event the promotion is hosting on home soil since late June, UFC president Dana White spoke with media members for his typical pre-fight scrum. White, who missed his final “Fight Island” scrum last weekend, had much to talk about, including Saturday’s card, the rise of welterweight fighter Khamzat Chimaev, the boxing return of Mike Tyson, and Dan Hardy’s recent altercation with referee Herb Dean at UFC on ESPN 14.

In addition to the middleweight headliner between Shahbazyan and Brunson, UFC Vegas 5 will also feature the likes of exciting finishers Vicente Luque, Lando Vannata, Kevin Holland, Gerald Meerschaert, and Chris Gutierrez.
