UFC
The latest UFC fight poster has arrived, as the promotion recently unveiled the artwork for the upcoming UFC Vegas 7 event on Aug. 22 live on ESPN/ESPN+ from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Leading the way will be a main event clash between former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar and perennial bantamweight contender Pedro Munhoz. This will mark the first trip down to 135 pounds for “The Answer” after dropping his last two bouts at featherweight, including a recent TKO loss to “Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung.
As for Munhoz, this will be his most high-profile bout to date outside of a 2019 knockout win over former UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt. Munhoz, who holds an impressive 8-3 (1 NC) record since making his UFC debut back in 2014, could immediately launch himself into title contention with a memorable showing against Edgar.
In addition to the bantamweight main event, former UFC middleweight title challenger Yoel Romero will square off with former Ultimate Fighter winner Uriah Hall in the co-headliner. Romero will be trying to snap a three-fight losing streak at 185 pounds, which includes a recent title fight loss to current champion Israel Adesanya, while Hall attempts to secure his first three-fight win streak since 2013-2015. Both middleweights are also featured on the above UFC Vegas 7 fight poster.
What do you think, fight fans? How does this UFC poster stack up against some of the rest?
