Light heavyweight prospect Josh Fremd made the most out of his Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA) debut this past Friday night at LFA 89 when he clobbered opponent Lamar Gosey via first-round knockout (knees).
Fremd, a towering prospect hailing from Factory X Fight Team, wasted little time getting busy in his first LFA appearance. During an exchange along the fence he was able to grab a hold of Gosey in the clinch and slam two thunderous knees into his head. Gosey immediately went limp and fell to the canvas. Fremd even added a slicing elbow for good measure, which ended up cutting Gosey’s forehead wide open.

Fremd, 26, is now 5-1 in his professional MMA career, finishing four of those wins by knockout or submission. The 6’4” light heavyweight is certainly a work in progress, but with world-class competition training alongside him it’s possible that Fremd scores a few more wins under the LFA banner and earns his way into Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
