Lightweight Renato Moicano is reportedly out his fight on October 17.
It seems lightweight Renato Moicano will no longer be competing in October. Per Ag Fight’s report, the Brazilian is unable to leave the United States for undisclosed reasons and thereforetherefore cannot meet his opponent, Magomed Mustafaev, for their bout scheduled to take place on Abu Dhabi’s Fight Island.
In his last outing, Renato Moicano (14-3-1) had a successful lightweight debut by tapping out Damir Hadzovic in only 44 seconds, back in March. Before that, 31-year-old suffered back-to-back TKO losses to both Jose Aldo and Chan Sung Jung, in March and June 2019, respectively.
So far, it is unclear whether Magomed Mustafaev (15-3) will remain on the card or if the match will be re-scheduled for another event. In his last fight, the 32-year-old dropped a split decision to Brad Riddell, back in February.
UFC Fight Night 180 is scheduled to take place on October 17, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The card is expected to be headlined by a featherweight bout between former title challengers Brian Ortega and Chan Sung Jung.
