Featherweight newcomer Ludovit Klein looked like an absolute killer earlier tonight (Sat., Sept. 26, 2020) at UFC 253 live on ESPN+ PPV from inside Flash Forum on “Fight Island” in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E., when the Slovakian fighter defeated battle-tested Shane Young via first-round knockout (head kick and punches).
Despite missing weight by four pounds for his debut, Klein came out roaring and tagged Young with a kick to the body and a few strikes up top. Young kept pushing forward and gave Klein the chance to unload a massive head kick. Young covered up but Klein was still able to sneak in a nasty combination, including an uppercut that put Young down for the count.

With this performance, Klein makes a huge Octagon debut against a hard-nosed veteran who had ever been finished before. As long as Klein can keep his weight cut in check he should be able to punch and kick his way towards the top 15 in no time, which is saying a lot because the UFC’s featherweight division is absolutely stacked.
