Jake Paul will be fighting in Showtime next.
After two bouts with Triller Fight Club, Jake Paul is moving on and will have his next bouts now hosted on Showtime. According to a report from ESPN, the YouTuber-turned-boxer has signed a multi-fight deal with the network, and a fight announcement is expected soon as they’re in already “advanced talks,” finalizing the details.
Apart from hosting various Showtime Boxing events, the network is also the home for Bellator MMA, and Floyd Mayweather’s upcoming exhibition boxing match against Jake’s brother, Logan Paul.
Triller’s Ryan Kavanaugh also claimed that Jake declined an offer for an undercard slot against “a legit boxer,” before leaving to sign with Showtime. With Paul’s desire to use boxing vs MMA themes early in his career to tap into both markets, it will be interesting to see how much of that Bellator connection is used moving forward.
The ties to MMA doesn’t end there, as helping secure the Showtime deal was Paul’s adviser in Nakisa Bidarian, who was previously the CFO of the UFC and the CEO of Fertitta Capital.
Paul also took to social media about the switch to Showtime:
in the media business they say content is king… and in the fight business, fighters are the content…so WE are the kings
make sure you are getting paid like a king!
new fight announcement coming soon…

Paul, who is one of the more popular and polarizing figures in combat sports, has captured a lot of interest and attention just three fights into his young boxing career.
Like most boxing prospects, Paul hasn’t faced stiff competition in his first few bouts, but he did manage to not only perform well with three knockouts, but also establish himself as a legitimate draw that taps a wide audience.
The 24-year-old is coming off a quick knockout of former UFC contender Ben Askren in April.
