Streaking bantamweight prospect Adrian Yanez captured another UFC finish earlier tonight (Sat., July 24, 2021) at UFC Vegas 32 live on ESPN/ESPN+ from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, when he stopped fellow youngster Randy Costa via second-round TKO (punches).

This fight was a barn burner from the opening bell. Both bantamweights came to fight but it was Costa who did more damage early on the heels of a stiff jab. Yanez kept plodding forward and absorbed all of the punishment. In Round 2, Yanez pushed the pace even more and started to land his own jab before launching a clean uppercut that hurt Costa and sat him down. Yanez landed some hard follow-up punches before the referee stepped in for the stoppage.

Yanez has now won each of his first three Octagon appearances by way of knockout or TKO and looks ready to test his luck against the bantamweight top 15. He took on a little more damage than he should have in this matchup, but it just goes to show how tough the Texas native truly is.
