On Monday, the Nevada State Athletic Commission released the fighter salaries for last Friday’s, August 12, Strikeforce Challengers: Gurgel vs. Duarte event from Las Vegas.

Fighter salaries totaled $54,000 for the main card and $38,000 for the prelim card, totaling $92,000 in salaries paid out to the events participants. These numbers do not include money earned through sponsors, and/or other bonuses handed out by Strikeforce.

Main event winner, lightweight Joe Duarte earned $6,000 ($3K to show and $3K for the win) for his decision victory over opponent Jorge Gurgel, who earned $5,000.

The highest earners for the event were Pat Healy, and prelim fighter Gian Villante, who both earned $10,000 for their wins.
