UFC Live on Fox: Velasquez vs. Dos Santos (aka UFC on FOX 1) is scheduled to take place on November 12 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The headliner for the FOX event was announced this past Friday, Sept. 3, a heavyweight title bout between champ Cain Velasquez and No. 1 contender, Junior dos Santos. Their bout will be the only live fight broadcast on FOX.

This event marks Swanson’s UFC debut after eight appearances with the former WEC promotion. He had been scheduled, twice, to fight Erik Koch at previous UFC events but pulled out both times due to injury. Swanson was to meet Koch at UFC on Versus 3 in March and then rescheduled for UFC 132 in July. The featherweight had his last fight last November, a split decision win over Mackens Semerzier at WEC 52.

Lamas debuted with the UFC in June, earning a first round TKO victory over Matt Grice at UFC on Versus 4. That bout marked Lamas featherweight debut after going 4-2 as a lightweight in the WEC. Lamas final bout under the WEC promotion came last December at WEC 53, a first round knockout loss to Yuri Alcantara in Arizona.
