Rising Canadian welterweight sensation Rory ‘The Waterboy’ MacDonald (12-1) has drawn ‘The Hairow’, aka Brian ‘Bad Boy’ Ebersole (48-14-1, 1NC), for the upcoming UFC 140 event in Toronto. The bout should prove to be one of the most exciting on the card.

The bout was announced at UFC.com for UFC 140 which is set to take place on December 10 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada.

MacDonald is 2-0 since his first professional loss, and holds a 3-1 record in the Octagon. ‘The Waterboy’ earned a first round TKO stoppage against Mike Pyle last month at UFC 133 and put in a one-sided performance against Nate Diaz in April at UFC 129. The loss was to Carlos Condit at UFC 115, a fight which saw MacDonald leading on most observers scorecards until the final seconds of the third when Condit was able to finish by TKO at 4:53.

Ebersole, best known to many UFC fans for the arrow shaved on his chest, is now 2-0 in the UFC and has gone 9-0 since the fall of 2008. The American born fighter has spent most of his recent career fighting in Australia and stepped in for an injured Condit at UFC 127. ‘Bad Boy’ earned a unanimous decision over Chris Lytle at the Sydney event, and then moved on to finish Dennis Hallman last month at the same UFC 133 as MacDonald.
