An exciting featherweight matchup appears to be in the works as ‘The Korean Zombie’ Chan Sung Jung (11-3) and former No. 1 contender Mark ‘The Machine’ Hominick (20-9) as both have reportedly agreed to meet at UFC 140 in Toronto.

BloodyElbow.com brings news of the matchup on Saturday afternoon, having confirmed the news with sources close to both fighters.

UFC 140 is scheduled to take place on December 10 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario. This event represents the promotions second ever visit, following their attendance breaking event, UFC 129, last April which brought in 55,000 fans into the Rogers Centre.

Jung was last in action in March at the UFC Fight Night 24 event in Seattle. There he earned some revenge over Leonard Garcia by submitting the ‘Bad Boy’ with a promotion first, twister submission, to win his first fight in three matches. ‘The Korean Zombies’ losses were to George Roop at WEC 51 and to Garcia at WEC 48.

Hominick fought at the UFC 129 event, going five-rounds in the co-main event against UFC featherweight champ Jose Aldo. Aldo would keep his title and both would earn the “Fight of the Night” bonus for their work. Previous to that, ‘The Machine’ had earned five straight including stopping Roop at Fight for the Troops 2 in a No. 1 contender bout.
