Coming off a big win on Saturday night in Denver, UFC light heavyweight champ Jon ‘Bones’ Jones (14-1) successfully defended his title for the first time by submitting former title holder, Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson in the fourth round of their UFC 135 fight.

At the post fight press conference one might have thought that Jones would begin by answering questions about his win, instead some of the first questions directed at him were about his next fight with Rashad Evans, or a possible “Super-Fight” with Anderson Silva.

Jones was quick to shut down the media’s questions about answering questions about Evans, saying that “He’s ruined my special night twice now,” and that he wouldn’t be talking about his former teammate.

So instead of asking Jones, the media turned to his opponent Jackson and UFC President Dana White for their thoughts. It wasn’t something that sat well with ‘Bones’ who couldn’t keep his silence.

“I will say this about Rashad, he does not have my number. He’s not even close to having my number. Me and Rashad, we sparred a few times. And every time we sparred, I know what happened. He talks about one day at practice when he held me down and he lives that day in his head every day, so we’ll see.”

On a “Super-Fight” with Anderson Silva, White was quick to shoot down questions about “when” the two fighters might meet, telling the media that the light heavyweight division “is stacked and there are a lot of tough guys out there.” If Jones manages to clean out the 205 lb division, White said he’s already talked to Jones about the possibility of moving up to heavyweight.
