The Ultimate Fighting Championship is set to host it’s first title fight on free television since September UFC 75, as bantamweight champ Dominick Cruz (135 lbs) made weight for his title fight with No. 1 contender Demetrious ‘Mighty Mouse’ Johnson (135 lbs) on Friday.
The UFC Live: Cruz vs. Johnson weigh-ins took place at the D.C. Armory in Washington, D.C. on Friday, with Saturday’s show taking place at the Verizon Center.
The UFC on Versus 6 card features a four-bout televised show, which will also feature a heavyweight match between 5’11″ Pat Barry (243 lbs) and 6’11″ Stefan Struve (261) in the co-main event. Also fighting are Charlie Brenneman (171 lbs) vs. Anthony Johnson (171 lbs) and Mac Danzig (155 lbs) vs. Matt Wiman (156 lbs).
