UFC announced two new fights to the first ever UFC show on fox–FOX 1 on November 12th in Anehiem, California. Damarques Johnson vs. Clay Harvison in the welterweight division, and a bantamweight match-up between Alex Caceres and Cole Escovedo–both fights will be on the preliminary card of the fights.
Alex “Bruce Leeroy” Caceres is dropping to 135 pounds to take on Cole Escovedo at the UFC on Fox event in Anaheim. UFC president Dana White announced today that verbal agreements are in for the bout. “Both bantamweights had non-stop action fights in their last outings and are sure to do the same November 12.”
In another rescheduled match from Battle on the Bayou, verbal agreements are in for a welterweight bout between TUF 13′s Clay “Heavy Metal” Harvison and TUF 9′s DaMarques “Darkness” Johnson. Johnson was injured in August, giving TUF 11′s Seth Baczynski the opportunity to fight in his place against Harvison.
