The quarterfinal bouts of Bellator Fighting Championships Season Five Welterweight tournament are set to begin tonight, Oct. 8th at the Buffalo Run Hotel & Casino in Miami, Oklahoma.
Tonight sees welterweights Ben Saunders take on Luis Santos and Douglas Lima meet Chris Lozano on the main card as part of the semi-final round of the tournament.
Also featured on the main card is a featherweight match between Ronni Mann vs. Kenny Foster, and a heavyweight tournament alternate bout featuring Thiago Santos vs. Josh Burns.
Bellator 53 is scheduled to air live on MTV2, and in HD on EPIX, beginning at 9PM EST (6PM PST). Fans in Canada can catch the main card on theScore, check local listings for time. The preliminary card will also stream live on the web beginning at 7PM EST (4PM PST) at both Bellator.com and Spike.com.
