Former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion, Conor McGregor appears receptive to the idea of a rematch with former featherweight titleholder, Max Holloway in the future, claiming he is “never retiring” and backing a future re-run between the duo.

McGregor, a former duel-weight champion under the promotion’s banner, first shared the Octagon with eventual former featherweight kingpin, Holloway back in August 2013 at UFC Fight Night Boston, landing a unanimous decision victory over the Hawaiin in his sophomore Octagon walk.

As for Holloway, the former undisputed featherweight champion managed to return to the winner’s enclosure at UFC Fight Night Kansas City earlier this month – taking out Arnold Allen in a unanimous decision victory.

Weighing up the possibility of sharing the Octagon with McGregor in the future in a rematch, Holloway claimed that he would follow the Dubliner as high as the welterweight limit for a re-run – describing the pairing as a dream fight.
