In anticipation of tonight’s upcoming UFC welterweight fight between Nick Diaz and BJ Penn, our friends over at Facebook.com/ChokeOutCancer posted some behind the scenes footage from the Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Noons II event, featuring Diaz and opponent KJ Noons.

ChokeOut Cancer got a chance to hang with Nick Diaz Vs. K.J. Noons 2 for StrikeForce at the Hp in San Jose Ca. This was their second fight. Also fighting was Marloes Coenen Vs. Sarah Kaufman for the Title belt and JZ Cavalcante Vs. Josh Thomson. We got to hang with WWE’s super star and now movie star Dave Batista and legendary Cesar Gracie. Jake Shields, Gilbert Melendez and Nate Diaz were also in the house. Fabricio Werdum, Babalu Sobral, Jacare, Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida and Chinzo Machida represented Brazil. From AKA we had Jon Fitch, Cung Le, Luke Rockhold and Herschel Walker. Strikeforce’s CEO Scott Coker had Randy “The Natural” Couture, Miesha Tate, Gegard Mousasi, Mayhem Miller and K-1 Imani Lee ring side. It was an honor to be surrounded by such amazing athletes and super MMA fighters. Great event and incredible night for MMA.
