A featherweight bout has been re-booked for UFC 141 as fighters Manny ‘The Pitbull’ Gamburyan (11-6) and Diego ‘The Gun’ Nunes (16-2) are set to meet at the end year event.

Officials announced the bout Monday evening at UFC.com along with the Donald Cerrone vs. Nate Diaz and Ross Pearson vs. Junior Assuncao bouts.

Featherweights Manny Gamburyan and Diego Nunes have re-booked their bout, originally slated for UFC 135 in September. The fight was scrapped after both men suffered injuries leading up to the date.

UFC 141: Lesnar vs. Overeem is scheduled to take place on December 30th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. No word was given on which part of the card the bout would take place, but it’s likely the match will end up on the prelim card.

Both men had been scheduled to meet this past September at UFC 135, but both fighters were forced off the card due to injury.

Gamburyan has dropped two straight, losing to Tyson Griffin last June at the UFC Live: Kongo vs. Barry event. The majority decision loss marked his return to the UFC after two-and-a-half years which saw him drop to featherweight to compete in the WEC. The other loss, his last WEC match, was a WEC featherweight title bout loss to champ Jose Aldo at WEC 51.

Nunes also enters the fight on a loss, having been defeated by Kenny Florian at UFC 131 by unanimous decision putting his UFC record at 1-1. His debut took place last January at UFC 125, a split decision win over former WEC champ Mike Brown. That win was his third straight with wins over Tyler Toner and Raphael Assuncao.
