Bec Rawlings believes she helped pave the way for combat athletes when she joined OnlyFans three years ago, which in turn has boosted her popularity as a member of the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) roster.
Rawlings, who meets Christine Ferea in a title rematch tomorrow night (Sat., Dec. 2, 2023) at BKFC 56 live on FITE.TV pay-per-view (PPV) from inside Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, has become a staple on OnlyFans over the past few years. The subscription-based website has helped Rawlings create financial stability for herself and ultimately gives her an outlet to reach fans when she’s not competing.
That’s not to say Rawlings hasn’t received backlash for joining the OnlyFans network, which in large features adult content not suitable for all. Despite the negativity that comes along with all of this, Rawlings is proud to be a member of OnlyFans, especially as more combat athletes join the new craze.
“It’s f—king cool,” Rawlings told MMA Fighting. “Like when I saw Floyd Mayweather walk out with a hat with an OnlyFans logo on it, I was like, this is f****** cool. It’s even hit boxing! I’ve never really looked at it that way, I don’t like to blow smoke up my own ass, but I definitely was a trailblazer now that you mention it.”
Rawlings, 34, believes she helped get the ball rolling for combat athletes to join OnlyFans. Nowadays, the likes of Paige VanZant, Hannah Goldy, Kay Hansen, and many others, are making good money to share content to paid subscribers. Before they joined, Rawlings was setting up shop and taking all of the criticism that came along with it.
“Myself and Jessica Penne were just talking earlier, we were the f—king OG’s of that sh-t,” Rawlings said. “We were the first fighters to take that f—king leap and sign up and promote it, and everyone was like, ‘Are they doing porn?’ Or, ‘that’s risky,’ this or that. We’re like no, it doesn’t have to be porn. It can be f—king mainstream sh-t, too, it’s just exclusive content. Now, every fighter and their f—king dog are on OnlyFans.”
Luckily, Rawlings is able to reap the benefits of being both a full-time content creator and professional bareknuckle boxer. She will make her next appearance inside of the bareknuckle ring this weekend at BKFC 56, which is being billed as one of the biggest BKFC cards of the year.
