Former Ultimate Fighting Championship standout and current OnlyFans superstar, Paige VanZant, made her official slap fighting debut earlier tonight (Fri., June 28, 2024) at Power Slap 8 LIVE on Rumble from inside the new Fontainebleau Las Vegas in “Sin City.”

VanZant, who was once considered a UFC star in the making, has struggled in her combat career since parting ways with the premier MMA promotion back in 2020. This includes a 0-2 record as a bare knuckle boxer and a recent attempt at professional boxing opposite Elle Brooke at Misfits Boxing 15, which ended in a draw.

On Friday, “12 Gauge” made her official move to Power Slap in a main card showdown with Christine Wolmarans, who lost via knockout in her last slap fight appearance. VanZant is not the most powerful striker and was never known for her hitting power so fight fans didn’t really know what to expect. All we know is that VanZant loves to be violent.

VanZant may not have secured a knockout win in her Power Slap debut, but the former UFC contender looked pretty damn good. She forced Wolmarans to her knees in Rounds 2 and 3. Wolmarans tried to return with her own shots, but they didn’t seem to faze VanZant too much (she may have flinched on the first slap). VanZant handily won all three rounds and cruised to a unanimous decision win in her debut.
